Finish Choices:
POWDER COATING; A protective coating that starts in the form of powder, then sprayed over the product and baked on. The heat from the baking process changes the molecular makeup of the powder, creating a super durable finish, extremely resistant to breakdown. Lasts 15-20 years.
NATURAL WAX; a process of applying a wax coating to heated metal. This keeps the rustic, natural look of the steel but protects it from rusting.
RAW STEEL: Please note, raw steel will rust fairly quickly depending on the environment. Over time, the rust will start to eat away at the steel. If you would like to spray paint yourself, it's recommended to clean with steel wool (like sanding wood) so the paint will stick well to the steel.
NOTE; lumber is often measured by it's "nominal" size. For ex., a 2" x 4" piece of wood is the measurement the wood is when it's cut from the tree, after the drying process, it shrinks to it's "actual" size 1.5" x 3.5". If you're unsure, we recommend measuring your lumber and then buying brackets to match!
How many brackets do I need? Here's our suggestion based on shelf length;
0”-36” = 2 Brackets
37”-68” = 3 Brackets
69”-100”= 4 Brackets
101”-132”=5 Brackets
133”-164”=6 Brackets
